Nāradā (नारद)
1. Narada (nāradā), Hindu Rishi or Sage.
Narada is the wisest of all sages and carrier of all knowledge. He is considered the world's first journalist, a cosmic traveller and storyteller, carrying news between worlds. Narada's unique
ability to wander freely between all sacred realms and visit any moment in the past, present or future, led him to become divine messenger,
delivering Gods' messages to people across time and space. Narada was also known to be mischievous and provocative at times, where he enjoyed actively stirring up trouble in order to reveal deeper truths to people and the Gods.
The name Nārada means knowledge giver, from the Sanskrit Naara - wisdom and Da - giver.
2. Narada (nāradā), Aristo-Freak, Dance-floor Icon,
Psychedelic Gentleman.
Narada was the wisest of all freaks, an expert in philosophy, classics, politics, literature, and more, with a special interest in the history of the British Aristocracy. Narada had a talent for memorising long works of poetry and literature and startling his fiends by reciting them in full when they least expected it. He was especially fond of dancing, psychedelic trance, LSD and hashish, and made a point of never running out. He made sure his friends never ran out either, and extended the same courtesy to a select echelon of British polite society. Narada also had a penchant for the contrary, and would often adopt an opposing point of view for the pleasure of a good debate. His sharp intellect,
compassionate wisdom and mischievous humour live on in all who knew him.
It is our intention to cultivate this digital space as a platform for sharing knowledge, debating ideas, and appreciating the mischievous humour of life.
